North
American Pairs
The
North American Pairs is held every year. It has 3 levels of competition.
- The Club Level - Held in
clubs like ours (OK, not quite as good) around the country. In a
club game, the North American Pairs means BIG POINTS.
- The District Level - In
our district (District 7) the district level competition is held in Spartanburgh SC in November. A pair that
finishes 1st, 2nd, or 3rd is subsidised to represend our district at the Nationals.
- The National Level - Representitives of the districts compete in the Spring
North American Championships. The winners are North American Pair
Champions for their Flight.
The three flights are: Flight A - Open; Flight B Under 2000 masterpoints;
and Flight C, Non Life Master.
